lizard_king4202 Posted February 10, 2009 Report Share Posted February 10, 2009 My search index keeps adding more items to the index than it should (I only had Start Menu checked which should be 40 some items but it keeps indexing 700+) whenever i do a reinstall it is fine for awhile (I uncheck all but the start menu at the beginning and uncheck all options except search programs on the taskbar->Start menu window. but after awhile it always starts indexing abunch of items and even if i uncheck EVERYthing leaving no indexed locations (Except the locations it wont let me uncheck for some reason.)it still indexes hundreds of items.
