Hi thetre folks,

I have authenticated Beta version of Windows 7. I must say that it seems quite fast in installation and effectiveness. I am running in 64 bit mode and have had no real issues bar this one problem.

I have 3 sata drives in my pc. I have 2 x 500 sata paired in one bank and the other sata in another sata slot.

My computer only sees the two big drives and does not see the smaller one.

I have my pc configured with dual boot option Vista/Windows 7. Vista is preconfigured on the smaller drive. Vista sees the 3 drives if I boot Vista.

The device manager in Windows 7 shows 3 drives in my pc. I have tried to remount the drive for windows 7 to pick up but nothing happens..

can anyone suggest anything??

Thanks

Darren

Hello Darren, welcome to WF.

Some questions:

Tell me, are all the drives formatted NTFS.

Where is Seven installed. Is it a drive/partition of it's own.

Did you do a clean Install of Seven or an "upgrade".

Hi there,

I have booted under vista and all the hard drives read as NTFS.

Vista was installed on c: drive (320GB), whilst Windows 7 was installed on drive D: (500GB)

and I have E: which is also a data 500GB.

Windows 7 can see the two 500GB hdds but doesnt see the c: drive.

device manager in windows shows 3 drives. I have tried to populate that drive or scanned for new hardware but nothing...
