File permission problem

I've had this problem for a while but I've let it go without trying to fix it until now! Basically I'm absolutely completely locked out of certain directories or files on my computer. For example I have a file in my music folder called "Tsunami Bomb" which contains 12 mp3 files. The security tab in the properties window has Ben (Ben-PC\Ben) under Group or usernames and the permissions for everything other than "Special permissions" has a check next to it. However when I try to delete the directory I get an error as follows.

You need permission to perform this action

You require permission from Ben-PC\Ben to make changes to this folder

The security tab on the individual files within the folder have the group or user names as following:

S-1-5-21-4254723933-1637934520-504412915-1000

S-1-5-21-4254723933-1637934520-504412915-1001

I can gain permission by manually adding myself as a user and setting control to full but I don't want to do this with every directory that I'm locked out of (about 2 or 3) and I was wondering if I can do it for the whole folder? The folder as mentioned has me as the owner but I think because each file is individually assigned to the random names above it over-rides my authority within the file.

My current OS is Windows 7 build 7000, although the problem persists in Vista. There isn't a problem in Linux.

Any help would be VERY MUCH appreciated.

Windows 7 is still only a time limited Beta - so you will experience problems.
