y2khardtop
I don't think so, I think you could find any "written" files, but I don't know if there is any way to detect when files were "read"You should consider using truecrypt or other encryption software if you have sensitive/private data moving around. Dencandy
You can also check the exact date and time each file was accessed (whether NTFS or FAT32). Just do this:Insert the flash drive in the usual way. Open the files/folders you want to check. Look at the toolbar at the top left of the screen and select View. On the little drop-down menu that appears select Choose Details. You'll get a long list of details you can examine. Put a tick in the box against Date Accessed and Date Created. Click OK.On the next toolbar down select the little box with coloured squares in it (it's called Views) and click on the tiny down arrow. Select the one at the bottom called Details. You should then get your files listed with the date & time created, accessed etc. But it won't tell you who accessed them. Why don't you get flash drives with a password facility? Imation make them & probably others as well.

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Dencandy just explained to you in detail how to do it. In fact, I didn't know that you can select the Accessed Date on a FAT device! But I have just tried it, and it works perfectly.
Dencandy
thank you very muchis there a way to have last access date with the usb device (flash disk) ? There probably is, but I don't know how to do it. Why don't you contact the flash drive manufacturer? Perhaps they have a user group where people discuss such things. Alternatively get a flash drive like Imation wher you can put a password on certain files but have others open.
