aintnorock
I just got a new computer, and I have an issue that I'd like resolved - it's probably something stupid, but it irks me anyway. When I am in My Computer, and I click on Search, I get a Windows Search that I don't understand, and don't want. I have to click again on the bott left on Windows Search Companion, and then the normal search window pops up where I can specify dates, times, file names, etc.How do I fix it so I get the Search Companion Window without clicking twice. Thanks,Carl

Dencandy
You can uninstall Windows Search from Control Panel > Add/Remove programs. Windows will then revert back to the standard built-in search.
