Nightmare7 Posted May 3, 2009 Report Share Posted May 3, 2009 So earlier, I restarted my computer, and when it starts up(like I can see the wallpaper but my icons and start menu don't come up), I get an error message that says..."the application or dll c\windows\system32\wininet.dll is not a valid windows image. please check this against your installation disketter. What version of IE are you using?You can try to download wininet.dll from the Internet (search Google), but it should match the version of iexplore.exeAlternatively you could try to reinstall Internet Explorer.
