mosuetopher
Hello everyone, I've recently begun looking into anonymous browsing via proxy servers. I've had some success in locating proxy lists online and configuring IE, FF and Opera to use them, and also using Tor w/ Vidalia & Firefox. This link: http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/2008/1...-proxy-servers/ describes what I'm trying to accomplish now. I've been using Proxifer with proxies that I tested in the web browsers but it's refusing all my connections (except FF, which seems to work as desired). If anyone can offer any advice or guidance on the procedure, I'd very much appreciate it. If you could simply point me towards a more specialized support community that would be helpful too. I'd like to learn more about this subject but am having trouble figuring out where to look - can anyone give me a good starting point to go off of? I'm not sure what exactly I should be looking for, I've got a bunch of keywords I barely understand and no understand of how it all ties together. (Proxies, tor, http-https-socks4/5, ssh, ssl) Does all this information just fall under the broader designation of 'Networking'? Anyways, I'm running WinXP MCE SP3. Thanks!ETA** Also, is there any way to correct the typo in my display name? xD
homecomputeraid
The techniques you're asking about could be used in attempts to circumvent security appliances. Since it is impossible to know your intentions, WindowForum does not support such requests.Sincerely,
