Deleting cache files

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the Windows Forum.

But sorry, I cannot understand your question. Users are not supposed to touch the dllcache; Windows manages that by itself. Messing with the dllcache can seriously affect your system performance.

Whew - glad I asked. I was just following utube instructions on how to maximise disc space. Do you have a reliable link for that.

Thanks again - glad one of us knows what he/she is doing. What do dll files control?

I exposed a ton of files by putting in C:\windows\system32\dllcache but cant see how to delete them.

Help!!

Thanks - p

Do Not delete the dllcache folder or its contents. The utube instructions are referring to you Temporary Internet Files which is the Browser Cache.

The link below has instructions for clearing the Browser Cache for all of the popular Browsers.

What problem are you having with utube??
