Da_maniaC
Hey guys, :)Here's the deal... i've found a way to make an automated script and rebuild my entire winamp playlist (36.000+ files) whenever i feel the need. This can be because i added new music, accidentally deleted a file etc. etc.I created the script because i have a specific way to organise my playlist (Sorted by Genre and then by Album / Track / Vinyl). Now i am familiar with Winamp's Smart view and Update view abilities i just like to stick to the single .M3U playlists for various reasons.(The way m3u playlists are compatible through various software, the way i have Winamp setup etc.).My homemade script uses the windows commandline however and for it to work perfectly and the end result being just right my collection needs to consist out of solely MP3 files. No WMA's, no OGG's etc.So i was actually looking for a Music converter that allows me to scan my music collection for a specific format and then convert the files while remaining in the folders they were orginally in and deleting the old file when finished.(Also, not having to re-tag the WMA files would be great too).Would anyone be able to point me into the right direction? Thanks in advance. :)
