dale_nx26
My hard drive is (or rather was) a Maxtor with 200GB. Now my computers can only read 31GB on it. I tried disk management reformatting and error-checking but none works to gain back my space. I tried to google search it but don't exactly know what to search for. What happened and can I fix it? Thanks in advance!
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Not quite clear what the problem is. Can you show us a screen shot (as the example below) of your disk layout (compmgmt.msc) ?

dale_nx26
HAHA!!! All this happened because my HDD (PATA) cable was faulty! With a new cable, my PC is now able to detect all the spaces. Yes! This also explained why I wasn't able to detect my other HDD nor could I use it with my SATA HDD. All is well now. Thanks for the reply.
