Recommended Posts

Intel D975XBX2 Marvell SATA driver needed for Windows 7 Needed

System:

Intel D975XBX2 ATX Motherboard

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.40GHz 4M Processor

8GB (4 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)

Summery:

The 4 - port Marvell 88SE6145 is not recognized by my Windows 7 RC 1 Build 7100 install.

Installed Windows 7 (62 bit) onto Intel D975XBX2 ATX Motherboard.

I can not get windows to recognize the SATA drives attached to the internal Marvell card.

BIOS see the drives, just not windows.

Attempts / steps taken so far:

Attempted to install during system staging via f6, was not able to get Win 7 to recognoze the drivers

Attempted to install after staging both Windows XP 64 and Vista 64 Intel drivers (STOR_allOS_8.7.0.1007_PV), but the install fails with "system does not meet the minimum requirements).

Tried using STOR_AllOS_F6flpy_1.2.0.51_PV_Marvell.exe during F6 (after unpacking and putting on CDROM of course)

Tried just about every driver for all OSes on :

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_res...l&submit=Go!

Including, but not limited to:

"Marvell (RAID) driver version 1.2.0.60"

"IntelĀ® Matrix Storage Technology (RAID) driver version 8.7.0.1007"

Device shows as follows:

Seems like same issue as in :

Any Ideas or help appreciated very much.

Remember that W7 is still an experimental system and part of the reason for the release is to reveal shortcomings such as those you are experiencing.

Microsoft will be very interested in your findings to enable them to correct any problems - look on the documentation that was given with the download.

If you haven't already done so, the real place to post the problem is http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums...tegory/w7itpro/
