mailirs
Hi,I'm working in a school in france and the english teacher ask me if it were possible to have an english board with his pupils : they are disturbed by the classic "Démarrer" instead of "Start" Menu for instance.Any suggestions are welcome.Nota : we use a samba server for file sharing with profile management : we can have a specific template for particular people and particular computer. I told the teacher that it could be possible only with an english version of XP.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Welcome to the Windows Forum. If you have Windows MUI (Multilanguage User Interface), then you can change the user interface to any language you want. But the basic language of Windows MUI is English, so there is nothing you can do with the French version of Windows.Which means you are right: you will need the English version of Windows XP.P.S. I believe that Vista already comes with MUI; you just need to install the appropriate LIP (Language Interface Pack) to change the language. See http://beqiraj.com/windows/language-packs/index.asp for some additional information.
