slawson7
I know that, to make the most of a laptop battery, it should be charged to 100%, then allowed to almost completely discharge before being charged up to 100% again. It would be neat if there was a bit of software that monitored the battery capacity and then, in software, turned off the charging when the battery got to 100% charged, then turned it back on when battery got to (say) your critical charge level. The advantage of this would be that I could leave my laptop plugged in all the time, but would still ensure my battery was as healthy as possible.Does such software exist? Thanks and regards,Stuart
