-pops-
Not sure of the details of "time machine" but does this come anywhere near what you require?http://www.centered.com/I wouldn't be without it and I've installed it on lots of machines. -pops-
A PM received from Ash:hi,does this software backup my whole os i.e. its software and applications along with desktop items? Thanks.AshSecond copy copies what you ask it to. For a full system backup a lot recommend Acronis (see top of page) but what I do now is use XXclone and make a full clone of my "C" drive to a spare hard driveso that if anything goes wrong, all I have to do is swap the drives over - the spare becomes the "C" drive. The changeover only takes a minute or so and saves a lot of worry about "is the compressed backup I made going to work?"XXClone is obtainable from http://www.xxclone.com/ There is a free manual version and a pay-for auto.
