Posted July 7, 2009 Report Share Posted July 7, 2009 One morning a week ago I was unable to boot-up my system (windows xp pro) a message appeared on the screen saying Windows Root file\System32/Hall Dll was missing and should be replaced.After contacting my computer manufacturer I was guided through the Windows reinstall repair procedure using a disc they provided and now my system is now up and running again.As I say this happened suddenly one morning and I wonder if anybody would know why overnight the offending file should suddenly go missing.I regularly use 3 computer cleaning systems-Tuneup utilities,CC Cleaner,and Winaso so cannot understand how this happened.Any help and assistance would be appreciated so as to avoid a similar incident in the future.Many thanksTony Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
