Raddy
Hey guys,I'm currently running the Windows 7 release candidate on my tower, and I was just wondering if anyone can confirm which, if any versions of Windows 7 will support RAID 5 natively as opposed to using third-party drivers. In the disk manager, RAID 5 is an option but disabled, so I'm *hoping* that it will be available in the Professional or Ultimate editions of Windows 7. Thanks for any information
Boris
Probably be better to post your question here ?http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums...ategory/w7itproFrom what I can see - this appears to be the answer ?Only a hardware-based RAID installation is supported with Windows 7. You'll need to download the RAID drive controller drivers from your motherboard's support web site.http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums...11-37dc3f9fb9ca
