Order of Moving Files

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the Windows Forum.

When you are copying/moving files/folders/directories, what’s the order of the copying those files/folders/directories?

Most likely in order of the physical (not alphabetical) sequence they are listed inside a folder. Or, if a group of files is selected, then probably in the order they were selected.

basically, what's the copying "flow" ? so when i cancel moving my files, what gets copied and what doesn't?

Those that were already copied are copied, those that were not, are not.
