Double clicking on a folder opens the Search Window

When I double click on a folder in Windows Explorer, rather than exploring that folder, Windows XP opens up a search window. If I right click on the folder instead, the Search option is first on the menu and is in bold. On my other computer, the Search option is third on the menu after Explore an Open. Does anyone know how to change it so that when I double click on a folder, it opens it rather than searching it?

Click Start>Run then copy and paste or type in:

regsvr32 /i shell32

Click OK.

Note that the spacing is important.

Your problem will be fixed.
