After instaling Linux, I cannot run my windows

I had in

c: Windows xp 1

d: Windows xp2

First I was installed windows in C: and later I was installed windows in d:

Then I format c: and install Linux in c:

my d: drive is OK, but adding windows in Linux menu, I cannot boot windows.

I now how to add Windows in Linux menu. This is not my problem. THe problem I see, is I lost bmr with windows binary files meybe?

I copy these files to d: and to c:

1. ntldr

2. ntdetect.com

3. boot.ini

But I cannot still boot windows. What I have to do?

I try to repaer windows but I havenot got option "R" to repair it.

Meybe it is easy to boot windows, but I cannot.

Any help?

The normal way to do a dual boot is to install Windows first then the Linux distro.

Can you post a screenshot of the GRUB menu. sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst

Grub appears and I can choose Mint or Windows xp, but when I choose Windows xp the screen became black and the only message I have is:

:) I have only one windows, but I added some ones, once I got the windows menu list, just to try if it is not the first one.

Alter this part of the file, that should do it, other than that the Mint forum should be able to sort it out.

No, GRUB will load it for you.
