fitnessman
Hi guys, am loving windows 7 truly and have pre-ordered ultimate for october.currently i am using my 64-bit machine as a server on the main TV and am using my dell mini 9 (xp home) as a remote screen and keyboard for when the missus is watching TV, it works great and am using the tscon.exe RDP-Tcp#0 /dest:console code to end the session and keep the user logged in afterwards, it all works great, however i cannot get the aero effects on my dell mini 9, as far as i am aware from searching it should just mirror the host pc irrespective of the clients hardware but i also read that DWM shuts down when RDC is used.is there a workaround to stop DWM sclosing or a reg hack to keep aero activated on my home network connection that anybody knows of as i feel that without aero i am missing some of the 7 experiance or will the release of RDC 7.0 for xp will this issue be resolved?
