technohobbit17 Posted October 2, 2009 Report Share Posted October 2, 2009 I made a copy on my external of all the files on my C: drive because I needed to format it. I reinstalled XP, then I tried to copy the files from the external drive back to the C: drive. I keep getting messages that the file could not be moved because it is being used, when the only program I have open is Windows Explorer. How can I copy all the files?
