Control Panel disappears in Windows 7 beta

Hello,

I've been using the Windows 7 public beta for some time quite successfully until recently

when I tried to use the Control Panel to un-install a program.

Upon clicking on the Programs and Features icon the entire panel disappeared.

Subsequently I've found that clicking any icon on the Control Panel will cause it to disappear.

This problem severely limits the options for the control of everyday computer activities.

Can someone please help with this?

Thanks for your consideration,

verdegris

Windows 7 Beta expired on August 1st, 2009; you shouldn't even be able to use it anymore.

Install the RC, obtain an MSDN copy of build 7600, or wait two more weeks for the final release.

This problem severely limits the options for the control of everyday computer activities.

You should never use beta test software for "everyday computer activities".
