sciguy77
Hi,I'm using a Tecra M10 running Windows 7, which comes with a built-in fingerprint reader. However, there's no included software. Can you recommend some good free software so I can login with my fingerprint reader?

Can you see the device working in the Device Manager? No information or usage notes in the manual that came with your Toshiba? The Toshiba website says about their Fingerprint ReaderThis embedded biometric scanner plus software utility allows you to swipe your finger across the reader to gain access to your notebook. Use this combination to replace or augment the traditional Microsoft® Windows® log-on password in addition to commonly used programs or websites. On systems with the Trusted Platform Module, you can even use the fingerprint reader to encrypt files and folders for an additional layer of security.See also http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/content/pr...rint_Reader.pdfP.S. from the Tecra® M10 Series User’s Guide:Using the Fingerprint Authentication UtilityTo access the Fingerprint Authentication Utility either click Start,All Programs and TrueSuite™ Access Manager then select theTrueSuite™ Access Manager icon.
