Amara
Lately my laptop has been shutting down when on battery power when the battery power is low. The problem is that it does not give me a warning, the usual critical battery warning that is. Also, it does not always show the battery meter in the taskbar even though in power settings I have told it to do so. I'm thinking the two problems are most likely connected, but I'm not sure. I recently replaced my motherboard and was hoping that might fix the problem (although I replaced it for a different reason) and it didn't. I am running windows XP home edition. Thanks!! It remembers what the date is, but the time is not correct. I have to change it every time i start the computer.
