changing ownership of files

I'm doing my day to day work in a limited account, which generally works very well for me. When I have to excecute code with permission, I can use Run As, or switch to admin. However, there are a lot of files/directories I have which were created in different computer/previous windows installs/as admin/etc -- ie, I don't have ownership of them, so can't write/modify as limitied. I've tried switching over to admin, selecting everything in my home directory, and giving my limited account full access to those files, but the permission never seems to stay set that way. And new files are being created constantly.

Is there a convenient utility/shortcut/hack that lets me get ownership or permission from within my limited account?

I assume you've used the orthodox Windows method for taking ownership of files & folders and found it doesn't always work. There's another thread HERE that links to a piece of software called Unlocker that might help.
