How to delete User's account

Hello all

A few weeks ago I reinstalled windows, something I'd done many times before. I don't know what exactly went wrong since once I logged into my newly installed windows I noticed the previous admin account had been left intact (as ooposed to the account being wiped). So, now I have 2 accounts: the new admin account which funtions normally, and the old one, which doesn't show in control pannel/ accoutns (it's a kind of ghost) but only when I browse to C/ documents and settings. The reason I discovered this problem is becouse I ran out of space on my C drive almost immediately after I installed windows, which is obviously being taken by the old account with its old programs and stuff. Right now, my C partition, which is 26 Gig is fully clogged- When trying to delete this account, it obviously won't let me do so. As a matter of fact, I can't even browse into it since I get a message sying I have no admin rights. Apparently it's still being treated as an admin account, while my actual admin account is being recognized as a guess acacout to that one. Can anyone at all tell me if there is any way to wipe out this old account to finally free disk space without going through the pain of having to format and install windows again?

I'll appreciate very much any input on this. By the way, I'm runing windows XP SP2 Professional.

I lost 30 GB after installing Windows all over, and I was not able to access the folders.

However; this EXCELLENT program solved all my problems, and now all my space is free again.

If the program says it can't unlock, just tell it to delete the file/folder.

It takes a rather long time, but it works.

Sometime you will have to tell the program to delete the file/folder again.

However: This is BY FAR the simplest and most convenient solution.
