japniz
I'm trying to get my work PC in a MAC office to use two of the network printers, an Minolta PagePro II and a LaserJet. After some online searching, I found a Mac app called Bonjour that seemed to be the answer to my prayers - a one click solution designed to do just this, hook up a PC into a MAC network. After running it can see the two printers when I bring up a Print dialogue box but, infuriatingly, the print jobs I send to them never get printed - they just stay in a 'queue' as pending while my MACed colleagues are able to print without aproblem. Can anyone offer advice as to what I need do to actually print something? Indeed, what has Bonjour done - does it automatically install drivers to my system or does it just make it possible to use the printers across the network without the need for drivers to be installed on my PC?(The system in question is a Dell Dimension 4550, 2.4ghz, with 1ghz of 333 RAM and an X700 ATI card running WinXP SP3.)
