Coreper
I recently [a few weeks ago] recieved the notification from Windows Update, that the Microsoft Windows Vista SP2 is available for download for my notebook. So ofcourse I tried to install the update.So... the update prompts a window saying that i need to accept some stuff to install SP2, and i do, then it starts installing SP2...and then, within 10 seconds, it says the update is done and successfull. But then i instantly get Windows Update prompting again that SP2 is available again. Also, when i check My Computer, it still says that i have SP1.I tried using a standalone Windows Update [KB947821], which also finds the update, tries to install it, then it doesnt do anything for a long while, and closes after a while, without installing SP2...I also tried the standalone versions of the SP2 [KB948465], but then i [finally] get an error message: 0x800F0823.I did a lot of google searching, but nothing i tried helped :SI also ran some SFC /scannow scans, but then it DOES find some errors, but cant seem to fix it.So... I booted using the Windows Vista installation disk, ran a error check: no results, and ran a offline SFC scan: same results as the other SFC scan...I just cant seem to fix this and install SP2...Does anyone know what i can do to fix this?I would really like to have this update [Also to shut windows update up XD]
