dellthinker
Hi all, i have a question about folder redirection. I know how to set it up for 2003 Server just fine, however i have a issue. The Domain Controller is running on top of Virtual Box, which is running Debian. The Debian host machine is a 250GB, i gave the virtual Domain Controller 10GB just to run Active Directory. I have Samba 3 setup on the Debian server and file sharing enabled. What i want to do is point the folder redirection to the Samba share because there's more HD space to go around when im redirecting Desktop and My Documents. So i forwarded it to the share and and ran gpupdate /force in DOS and rebooted the client XP Professional machine. When i logged back in on the client i was redirected back to Server1( the name of the DC for AD ) But thats not what i wanted. At first i thought that if i logged into the Samba share and clicked the "Remember this password" box then it would redirect with no problems. But nothing. Even after i ran gpupdate /force on the client _and_ rebooted it. Any suggestions? Thanx in advance!
