Tony.W.
I have a new widescreen monitor Samsung p2270 its it says the optimum resolution is 1920x1080.But when its set to that the images look distorted and fuzzy. The only resolution that fits the screen and looks OK is 1600x900.The graphics card is a Nvidia 8800gt which according to the Nvidia website should support the 1920x1080 res.Can anyone offer any advice as to what the problem might be.Tony. Tony.W.
Hello Boris and thank you.I have downloaded and installed the updated drivers from your link and from the Nvidia website.Although the screen image is now crystal clear and in proportion two black borders have now appeared both side of the screen effectively reducing the screen size by about two inches.I wonder if it makes any difference as to what cable is used to connect the Monitor at the moment I am using a DVI-I (single )but the nvidia website recommends a DVI-I( Dual.)
