aspirin_128 Posted October 30, 2009 Report Share Posted October 30, 2009 Recently, my machine had been found the following:When start my machine, it will tripper off automatically the Windows Scan Disk (Blue background with white text) will come out to scan the drive C, I didn't pre-order this setting, and I always sign off my machine in normal procedure. Such problem only occur in Start the machine, no problem in Restart.a.) OS: Windows XP SP3b.) I get Windows Updates daily.c.) My anti-virus scan report told me nothing had been found. -pops- Posted October 31, 2009 Report Share Posted October 31, 2009 Unasked for scan disk is often initiated when there are problems with the hard drive.It would be a good idea to schedule a scan disk and arrange for it to attempt repairs and correct errors.
