kerova
Hello all, A few weeks ago I posted a thread since after reinstalling windows my old user account had been left intact hence taking up all my disk space. Now I managed to delete some of that info but found something else rather strange: My C drive is, quite expectably, made up of these folders: Doc and settings, Windows, Program files and TEMP. So far nothign strange. However, if I sum the apparent individual size of each of those no more than 10 GB should be occupied, whereas when I click on the properties of my C drive it says that 23 GB out of the total 25 GB are used. Can anyone tell me what may be taking up my disk? Thanks
AlanHo
There are numerous hidden system files which do not appear in the Explorer window.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Try JDiskReport; it's free, and it will tell you how much disk space is used where and by what. (You will need the latest version of Java RTE to run it.)
