STROKEDMARO
Attached is a picture of my network. I'm trying to figure out how to connect my main PC, tablet and eee PC together with Ethernet and still have access to the internet via the USB wireless adapter. I used to have a small, 4 port switch but I can't find it so I'm trying to use another wireless router (WRT300N) with the wireless turned off. I guess I'm not sure whether or not this is even possible (using the router as a switch) or if I need to actually go buy a switch. If it is possible than windows 7 is making it difficult. With the eee PC and the main PC I see a public network in windows 7. What happened to call my network "X" on one computer...call it "X" on the other and then they connect. I don't even have the option to setup a wired network in windows 7. If anyone has an idea of what I should use for "?" on the picture or a better way of doing what I'm trying to do PLEASE let me know. The purpose of the wired network is to use a program to turn my tablet into a second monitor. Although the program can work wireless it eats a crap ton of bandwidth. ANY HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
