Not sure how to continue with this.

Your Windows version is Korean? How about Windows Script Host - is it also Korean? (Check %windir%\system32\cscript.exe - Properties, tab Version; is it English version or Korean version?)

I want to suggest to reinstall WSH, but I cannot find a Korean version download - only English.

Ok, I think we have to stop pursuing this avenue.

Another idea would be to try CCleaner; it has its own uninstaller section. If it doesn't show your Messenger in the uninstall section (Tools | Uninstall), then maybe the registry cleaning section may clean out your remaining Messenger components. Be sure to take a full registry backup (ERUNT) before proceeding with the registry cleaner.

i did the registry and all that but nothing...

You mean you ran the registry cleaner of CCleaner (Registry | Scan for Issues | Fix selected issues), and you still cannot install the Messenger?

In that case it may be best to contact MSN Messenger Support at http://support.msn-int.com/contactus.aspx?productkey=MESSENGER

You need a software remover which removes half or installed things from your computer. It happens at times that you were in the middle of some installing or deleting and then the UPS goes off too!

In this case some files of the program remain in the system and are not that easily removable.

This software is available for free in software download site.
