Windows Event Log

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

I have a problem with the Windows Event Viewer which is on Windows XP professional, and new to this environment.

I want to know what are the Cookies OR the URL's that were logged on in the previous session(s).

However, I have looked into the Interner Options from the Windows Internet Explorer and from View Files but every time it gets deleted as the users who logged in will in turn deletes after the session is over.

My question, is there any evidence in either of APPLICATION or SYSTEM or SECURITY Under Event Viewer where I can look into ?

I have opened ALL of them but I couldn't find any evidence of any URL / Cookies is being registered.

May be I might be wrong, can anyone let me know as what is exactly stored under the Event Viewer AND is there any chance that I can still look into the URL's / Cookies from there.

is there anyway that I can look into the URL's / Cookies apart from the internet options --> View Files under the General tab.

Thanks all who participated in this discussion.

Thanks For the reply.

I just want to know - Is there any way that I can View from the Event Viewer such things like Cookies and URL's from the previous session.

If not, From Internet Options --> General tab --> Settings --> View Files. Is this only way to view ?

Please Clarify me.
