Prince of Sloth
My bro recently put XP on a somewhat shakey PC which he's now got linked up to BB. I've been working to persuade him to stick on a decent AV, trojan hunter, and firewall, of which I've only convinced him about the AV cause he instantly caught the blaster virus.Anyhow the query here is that I know the vanilla form of XP home that comes on the disk will be due a ton of patches - criticals, security, etc from MS, but I also know that some of these cause problems including instability and slow down and all the grief that came with SP1....SO, would it be better for him to grab the patches peice-meal or in a lump sum?If he got them in a lump would he still be able to uninstall the glitchy ones seperately?Cheers for your advice on this Sloth
Redhat
At this time, there isn't any 'glitchy' patches I'm aware of. Just visit : http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and install the lot, as he's on BB that should be grand :D
