littlebigman Posted January 11, 2010 Report Share Posted January 11, 2010 HelloAfter playing with Linux, I restored an image of a working XPSP3 onto the first partition of the hard-disk, and now need to run the Recovery console on the XP CD so I can restore the MBR.Problem is, the Recovery console prompts me for the Administrator password... which I don't have because when I installed XP, I simply hit Enter for this, and then create a "Joe" account with Admin rights which I used to log into XP.I tried hitting Enter, and also the password for "Joe", to no avail.
