Events Log

Hi,

I am puzzled by this thing called an Events Log. My Computer is running brilliantly and is very fast and responsive. However, accessing this Events Log reveals hundreds of Red errors and warnings about Booting/Shutdown

errors etc. What on Earth is happening and should I be concerned about this ? I am not very technical and the Help section only mentions lots of complicated ideas to solve matters. I have no wish to mess up my PC which, as I say, is running perfectly. System: Windows Vista Home Premium (64 bit) running on HP Laptop HDX 18.

Sometimes lifting the lid of a computer and seeing the inner workings can be likened to reading a Medical Dictionary.

Because there is a lack of understanding in some areas, we start to see problems where in fact there are none.

If your computer is running well, do not trouble yourself too much with the Event Viewer.

The Events Viewer is used:

"To solve a specific Vista problem

To discover why a machine is performing slowly

To prevent nuisances developing into disasters"

Thanks, John, That seems like sound advice.. "if it aint broken don't try to fix it." Funny you mention it .. I do delve into Medical Dictionaries so you can understand where I am coming from.
