fmw
I've been struggling over my need to have XP available along with Win 7 on my main work computer. The reason is that my accounting system won't work in Win 7. I struggled with the compatibility engine and finally decided I didn't like it. I finally ended up putting the accounting system on a dedicated XP computer on my network and I use remote desktop to operate it. It's very convenient because I use remote desktop to access my web server from the same workstation. The problem I have is that I don't have the ability to change the display settings on the XP machine through remote desktop. It just gives me the monitor's native resolution (1920X1080.) That's fine but I can hardly read the characters because I can't enlarge them. Changing the resolution directly on the XP machine doesn't work. It just provides the same native resolution. Is there a way to resolve this? Thanks for any help.

I tried it and couldn't get it to work on my Win 7 computer. I can connect just fine but I get a black screen. I'll look into it further.Fred
