Hi,

I want to route an "private" ip from a 3com managed switch (ip: 192.168.10.1) that is connected to 1st server NIC to my local network (192.168.0.*).

Here's the topology map:

routeadd1.png

IP Settings (1st network card):

#1st ip

--------------------------------

82.149.31.76 (public internet ip)

255.255.255.0 (subnet mask)

82.149.31.1 (ISP gateway)

213.161.0.10 (ISP DNS1)

213.161.0.20 (ISP DNS2)

----------------------------------

#2nd ip

192.168.10.2 (private ip)

255.255.255.0 (subnetmask)

----------------------------------

Server's first network card has two ip's:

82.149.31.76 (public internet ip)

192.168.10.2 (private ip)

Server's second network card has only one ip, for local network that it routes internet to:

192.168.0.1

Now i want to be able to ping and go to the swtich management page (192.168.10.1) from 192.168.0.* network.

What are the route add commands for that ?

Must i use static route or can it be done by using something else ? or should server route it automatically ?

I am using Windows Server 2003.

Thank you very much.
