Guest LB
THE Straits Times reports that a 14-year old kid has been charged with impersonating the education minister by email in an attempt to get two of his co-students expelled from school. He is accused of pretending to be the education minister - Rear Admiral Teo Chee Hean - by using a remailer program.Singapore is famous for its navy, and Teo is now the minister of defence.Currently he, the kid, that is, isn't being held in any of the rather notorious Singapore slammers, but is out on bail of SG$6,000, until the case comes up before the beaks again. If he'd been an adult student impersonating the education minister, he could have ended up being in clink for 10 years and face a huge fine. But Singapore has a scheme to rehabilitate smart evil little geniuses who mess about, although he could end up going to the Singapore Boy's Home, which sounds like the place for Smack Boys down in Ramsgate
