MJennings Posted April 16, 2010 Report Share Posted April 16, 2010 I have just reinstalled windows, and I rely heavely on windows file sharing to get things done. On my old installation I was able to just put in \\10.0.0.1 and it would prompt for login, before showing any shares or printer folder. But now on this new installation anyone can do that and see the list of shares, and for each share I have to manually go in and remove "everyone" and put just my username.
