MrChiefRocker Posted April 26, 2010 Report Share Posted April 26, 2010 Dear all, I'm facing a very interesting sound problem.(running Windows Vista 32 bit on a Dell Notebook, Latitude D 630)Unfortunately my computer plays only very limited sounds! To be precise, the only program playing sound is Skype. Even if I turn the volume to mute via the windows control pannel, skype plays all sounds in full volume. Any other programs does not play any sound at all (by internal speakers or audio line out). There are even no Windows sounds. I tried to play any media file on Winamp, Itunes, Windows Medialplayer, VLC paler, Power DVD. Aslo internet exploeres (microsoft and mozilla) do not play any sound. However, when I dock in my computer to my Dell dock in Station and use the audio line out of my dockin station, all sounds are played. What to do? Who knows something?
