KiDD Posted May 3, 2010 Report Share Posted May 3, 2010 OK so my girlfriend got this laptop from her dad and it had Vista on it....I wantted a fresh install so I downloaded a Vista Image and copied the serial number for the Vista that is installed.So after installing Vista come to find out it was an OEM image and the copy of Vista that was installed was an upgrade.... and the serial number doesn't want to let me change it...Do I have to install XP and upgrade it?
