vista 64 + broadcom netxtreme - only restart helps when NIC goes down

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have Vista 64 laptop with broadcom netxtreme NIC.

Computer is on cable and power settings are so that it does not go to sleep/standby.

Every morning machine is running but network is lost, and nothing but restart helps. It is not able to renew from dhcp, pulling out cable does not help.

From event log I see it seems to happen same time when Shadow Copy event runs. Any ideads, experience, whether it could be connected with shadow copy service?

NIC own power settings are also turned off, so it shouldnt go to sleep.
