richedie
Hi all,I am creating a package to install Oracle 10G onto a Windows server. Upon removal, I am unable to remove any instance of the OracleMTSRecoveryService in the registry, even after a reboot. This leaves the OracleMTSRecoveryService in Services which is not good. It needs to be cleaned. This is an example - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\Root\LEGACY_ORACLEMTSRECOVERYSERVICEAttempting to delete with a .reg file or manually gives me the following:Cannot delete Legacy_OracleMTSRecoveryService: Error While Deleting Key Procmon didn't seem to show me anything and I am not sure how to determine what open file handles are on the system.Any ideas? Thanks
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I don't know much about Oracle. The only thing I can think of: is any Oracle service running when you try to remove that entry?P.S. if you cannot find your answer here, does Oracle have some user support forums?
