Swagger Posted June 7, 2010 Report Share Posted June 7, 2010 Hi ForumI've just downloaded a Anti-Virus program called ESET Nod32, but the installation file is a .msi file (You use Windows Installer to open this file).And when I open the file all Windows Installer does is this:And i tried installing another version of Windows Installer, but they say I don't have enough storage? You can use msiexec to run an MSI file, especially if you want to specify installer options. When I try to remove a programme in 'Add and Remove' I am told that 'Windows installer cannot be accessed. It is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel' I have also had some dounloads from Microsoft which get the same treatment.
