I have a 1TB WD external hardrive this is about 90% full. My computer takes FOREVER to access files on it. I assumed it was because of the old file format type. Due to the size of the infomation on the drive I don't have a way to back up the files to reformat the drive with NTFS. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to change the file allocation tables without losing the data on the drive.
