deecee2
I am having problems which seem to have just started. When I try to remove a programme in 'Add and Remove' I am told that 'Windows installer cannot be accessed. It is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel' I have also had some dounloads from Microsoft which get the same treatment. It seems that something has changed somewhere and I am unable to download updates. Would be very pleased if someone could help me!Thanks in advance
catgate
Presumably you have all the necessary malware in position?Even if the answer is "yes" I suggest you run this :- />http://housecall.trendmicro.com/uk/It may find something nasty lurking in a corner. deecee2
Thanks for that! Forgot to say that I am running Windows XP on broadband. Don't know whether that helps!
