Bigger Buttons

Hello,

Is there some way (perhaps with Accessability Options) to increase the size of the interactive UI elements (such as the toolbar menus/icons, the buttons on the task bar/scroll bars etc) without decreasing the resolution?

I have a netbook with a touch screen and Windows 7 Starter but the resolution is high and the screen is small making it near impossible to operate without the stylus. I dont want to decrease the resolution as I can see it fine, just not interact with it, but the touchscreen isn't accurate enough when using fingers.

Seb, Welcome aboard.

Yes you can do it.

I'll try to explain:

In Win7 right click your Desktop>Personalize.

At bottom of the pane is Window Color - Click on it.

Last line says Advanced appearance settings... - click on it.

The dialog box Window Color and Appearance pops up.

Item: - is a drop down list.

Select Caption Buttons and change size - I use 21 on my desktop PC.

Alternatively you can click on the item (the button) and the drop down list will show the Item.

Yeah I know there are many other Items to play with.

Make sure you save your Changes on your way out :)

Those options are perfect David, thanks alot. My copy of Windows 7 Starter doesn't allow me to change those options but its worth an upgrade to Windows Home Premium so ill do that as soon as I get home in a couple of days and get it all set up.
